Well if you have been keeping up with yesterday's story, my friend R was arrested with a DUI. This morning, I was invited to Sunday Brunch at Squatter's (A Local Restaurant/Pub). While eating my meal, R called me and told me the story of the DUI. Also, while on the phone, he asked me for a ride home, since his car was impounded. I let him know that I would help him out after my brunch is over.
Fifteen minutes later, R calls me back and told me that a friend of his was going up to the University of Utah, and would drop him off at Squatter's so that he may meet up with me and grab a drink. I abruptly stopped him. And notified him that the last thing R needed to do is go to a bar and grab a drink. As if receiving a DUI wasn't enough of a wake up call, he needed to drown his sorrows with another mind numbing drink.
After brunch, I went down to the home R was staying at. R was no where to be found. As of 6:00p today I haven't heard from him. Only the future will tell what is store for R.

This makes me think about the DUI billboard on 5300 S and 700 W that says "If it were me, I'd call me!" I guess that's the lawyer that your buddy needs.
